For many years, Riccardo Cambri has run the Bel Canto Orvieto festival alongside Marsha Anderson, Laura Toppetti, and many other visiting artists. He is not only a sensitive coach and collaborator, but also a concert pianist. He has played in many solo recitals and concerts throughout Europe, including as soloist with the Orchestra of Perugia under the direction of Giuliano Silveri.
A much-requested coach and accompanist to many singers, he has performed in public masterclasses throughout Europe. He is also the principal piano instructor at the Luigi Mancinelli School of Music in Orvieto, and writes music critiques and articles for several Italian newspapers and online journals.
Riccardo has won a number of Italian Piano Competitions, including Torre Orsaia 1993, San Gemini 1994, Genzano in Rome 1995, and San Giovanni Valdarno 2001. In 1995 he attended the Mozarteum in Salsburg, Austria and was a finalist in the famous Akademie-Konzert. IHe holds a Diploma for Advanced Studies in Piano from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
