Auditor program
We as teachers and singers of opera have in common a love of expression and sharing. Apart from the years of training that go into the development of an operatic technique and stage presence, aside from the important assortment of teachers, training, and performance opportunities required by singers to reach fruition, there is nothing so important to us as our audience.
With our Auditor Program, we open our doors to both the nitty gritty of the world of operatic training and performance, as well as its more exalted moments of illumination and accomplishment. You will be invited to attend masterclasses and discussions with world renown singers & opera conductors, to see any of our festival performances, and share meals with our singers and faculty. The auditor program is also open to younger students who would like to get a sense of where their careers may be headed and learn through intensive exposure to masterclasses, lectures, language, and movement classes. Mat and movement classes geared towards opera singers will also be open to your participation, so that you can experience a portino of the work that goes into building the coordination and presence required by the art of lyric singing and stagecraft. We offer question & answer sessions with our program manager, as well as the opportunity to sign up for individual voice lessons at a special program rate. All performances given by our Institute are also included in the program. |
